Feeling like a little girl on Christmas morning
We are fortunate to have many creative customers who purchase our watches, today we received an amazing email from a blogger in Australia.
"My watch was on its way.
I felt a little (or maybe a lot) like the little girl waiting in delightful anticipation for Christmas morning to arrive, the gifts she’d find under the tree, ready to unwrap and feel the joy.
I’d chosen my watch with care and thought. The colour, the face, the strap. After exploring my options, I chose the fte3011, the small Rose Gold watch with grey strap. Rose Gold is my preferred colour for jewellery, so there was no question there. The plain face has always appealed to me, although I was unsure about was the curved glass cover. This was new to me; happy to wait and see. The grey strap made sense as it’d match both casual and work wear. I was a little concerned about the strap quality. I’d frequently replaced leather straps in the past.
Buying a watch online was something I’d never considered before. I prefer to physically get a sense of the texture and quality, to see it and try it on. It had to fit well and feel comfortable. My wrists are and have always been small, no matter how much my body weight fluctuated over the years. And this concerned me especially when buying online. Would it stay put? Would I need to add extra holes? What about the overall quality?
Yet, there was something about the Freedom To Exist brand that appealed to me, that gave me comfort and assurance.
I’d found Freedom To Exist after listening to a podcast interview of Kirsty and Paul. What struck me was their passion to deliver to a market that seemed to have been ignored over time. Women with small wrists. Of course, it was much more than this. I saw it as two people wanting to go that extra mile with design, quality and service and, where delivering on their promises was important.
So I took a chance, invested, and waited.
It took no more than 5 days from ordering and then reaching me here in Melbourne, Australia. On the Friday afternoon there was a knock on the door. It was the Postman with a personal delivery.
Excitedly I removed the box from the outer packaging. Even though I bought it, it truly did feel like a present. The Freedom To Exist wrapping paper made it even more special. Carefully unwrapping the paper revealed the elegant matt black casing. As I slid the box out of this outer casing, the box felt like it was covered in fine velvet. Quality all the way. I opened the lid, revealing the watch, carefully laid flat in its bed. At last.
My watch was on within moments. A perfect fit. The leather strap was stitched securely. Obviously made to last.
A practical accessory that looks great on my wrist and one I can read easily. The curved hardened glass cover? I love it. That in itself adds another touch of subtle uniqueness. A beautiful elegant design. A great decision. An excellent investment in me. Thanks Freedom To Exist."
