about

I built the tool I wish I'd had.

freedom to exist started as a watch brand. I ran it with my partner for the best part of a decade - designing, marketing, and selling online through shopify. we did well. but looking back, I can see how much revenue we left on the table, simply because we couldn't read our own data clearly enough to act on it.

that's the gap freedom to exist fills now.

what I learned the hard way

over ten years running a shopify store, I learned how online retail actually works - not in theory, but in the day-to-day of driving traffic, watching what converted and what didn't, and trying to grow a real business on real margins.

I also learned where the money hides. most of the revenue we missed wasn't sitting in traffic we hadn't bought yet - it was already in the store. in the customers we had. in the orders we were already taking. we just couldn't see it clearly enough, or early enough, to do anything about it.

with a background including time at Habitat, Marks & Spencer and Made.com, I'd spent years around businesses that understood product and presentation. what I didn't have was a clear, honest read of the data underneath - the kind that tells you exactly where to act, and in what order.

so I built it.

what freedom to exist does

I'm not here to rebuild your website.

most stores I look at are already 80% of the way there. the design works, the products are good, the traffic arrives. the missed revenue is in the last 20% - the gaps and quiet inefficiencies already sitting in your data. a second item that should be in more baskets. a segment of customers worth far more than they look. a checkout step that's leaking intent. the kind of thing that, once you can see it, takes a few focused changes to fix.

I find those gaps. I read your store's data - using pattern-matching and proven analytical techniques to surface what matters - and turn it into a clear, ranked plan you can actually act on. no redesign, no new ad budget. just a sharper read of what your store is already telling you, and the highest-return changes you can make from here.

why it's just me

every report is read and written by hand - mine. that's deliberate, and it's why I take on a limited number each month.

I'm not a faceless agency routing your data through a template. when you work with freedom to exist, the person reading your numbers is the person who spent ten years making these decisions on a real store, with real money on the line. I've made the mistakes. that's exactly why I know where to look.

the short version

I ran a shopify brand for ten years and learned, the expensive way, that most of a store's missed revenue is already hiding in its own data. freedom to exist is the tool I wish I'd had then - a clear, honest read of where your next pound of revenue is, and a plan to go and get it.
